This Sunday, 9 pubs in London, used for the first time the 3D technology to show the big match Arsenal – Manchester Utd. It seems that on April this service will be opened to all the owners of a Sky HD decoder pack.

The only problem seems to be on teams side. They do not have 22 red and green uniforms to let the team play

Couple of days ago I attended a party night where the invitation and the location as well, have been communicated only to those who sent an email to a specific address. Ok, seems a silly thing, but it explains why the party has been attended by a huge number of persons, more than for a sponsored event or a regular party night in one-of-those famous clubs in Milan.

All the communication has been focused on the mystery. No advertising, no flyers. A friend of mine told me once about it and gave me an email address. I did not even know what to write inside the email, something like “ok, I’ll come” or “ok, count me in”. So secret. So appealing. I received two emails from “them”, first one with approval, second one with location. Both were reporting this sentence “do not say it to others”. Woah, can you immagine?

That has been the key. “Do not say it” is a really powerful way to spread info about the party. First thing I did after reading the email has been to invite four friends. It is difficult to resist to the DO NOT, especially in this cases, where it is very satisfying to say “I was there”. Then, even a location that changes every time can be added as a reason of success, it is not unusual to get bored from a place/club. This, mixed with the sensation that all the people in the club were connected by some hidden reason, made a winning dynamic.

Smurfs Bombed by UN

In late 2005 an ad campaign made by United Nations, was running on Belgian Television.

This campaign against war, shows a smurf-village being bombed by airplanes, a terrible scenario not regularly associated to blue skinned cartoons. But it seems it got users attention and raised a lot of funds for kids in Africa.

Ankara 14th January – The Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs banned a toothpaste commercial because it has been judged as not compliant with Islam rules. The name of the toothpaste is Mu’min that means “faithful, loyal”. They added that religion cannot be used to sell products. Payoff was “Always with you”, not bad anyway.

Viveva con un cinghiale di 150 kg in appartamento

Teneva in casa un cinghiale di 150 kg e due cani pitbull. La scoperta e’ stata fatta ieri dalla polizia intervenuta su una segnalazione. Ad avvisare la polizia sono stati alcuni inquilini che sentivano strani ululati provenire da un appartamento. In una stanza erano rinchiusi due pit bull ed in quella vicina un grosso cinghiale. L’inquilino si e’ giustificato spiegando che l’animale era stato minacciato e non voleva lasciarlo nel suo terreno. (Yahoo Notizie)

Guida mentre fa colazione con latte e cereali: denunciato

Un automobilista americano è stato beccato dalla polizia mentre consumava una tazza di latte con tanto di cereali.

L’uomo, residente a Needham, nel Massachusetts, guidava in maniera scoordinata: sbandava vistosamente e di tanto in tanto invadeva la corsia opposta. Una volta raggiunto e bloccato gli agenti hanno poi scoperto che il conducente aveva persino la patente scaduta da qualche anno, la sua posizione si è pertanto aggravata. Portato in centrale l’automobilista avrebbe tentato di giustificare il proprio comportamento dicendo di esser stato costretto a mangiare mentre guidava, perché colpito da un improvviso attacco di fame: fermarsi, probabilmente, sarebbe stato una perdita di tempo che avrebbe aggravato ulteriormente il suo bisogno di cibo.

(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, 18 MAG – Un ragazzino di undici anni, Dominic Morado, e’ tornato a casa in Colorado con un proiettile conficcato nella tempia. Stava giocando con degli amici quando uno di loro gli ha sparato con una pistola ad aria compressa. Il bambino, convinto d’essere stato colpito da una pietra, ha camminato fino a casa, dove ha perso i sensi. Appena operato all’ospedale di Denver per rimuovere il proiettile tra la scatola cranica e il cervello, ha chiesto se ”poteva tenerlo come souvenir”.

(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, 12 MAG – Arrestata in Florida una madre che non ha fatto lavare i denti alla figlia per oltre un anno, causandole la decomposizione dentaria. Tamiya White, diciannovenne residente a Palmetto, e’ accusata di aver trascurato la figlia, che da un anno soffriva di mal di denti. La donna, nonostante il sostegno economico del padre per curare la bimba, si era rifiutata di portare la figlia dal dentista.
